I don't want to eat community food with my hands. Damn Ethiopians.

I could go for a jerk chicken right about now. Yeah, you heard me. A whole fucking chicken. Now.

Dang I miss the good food in Chicago. Cafe Babareeba was my favorite tapas restaurant. Otherwise my chicago favorites were breakfast places.

You mean, eating mush on bread with the taste and consistency of a used gym towel isn't your idea of haute cuisine?

You've obviously never tried it with the blackfly sprinkles.

Babareeba is pretty good for an LEYE restaurant, but iberrico is retarded good.

Beats the pants of babareeba, highly recommended on your next return visit.

Also, ribs at Twin Anchors

I'll toss in two of my favorites:

Turkish Cuisine (Yea, that's the name)
5605 N Clark St.

Andalous Moroccan Restaurant (Try the bstilla... pastry stuffed with roast chicken/raisin/spice topped with powdered sugar and cinnamon).
3307 N Clark St.

Both are on the less expensive end of things.

Honestly, I like Emilio's even more.
True, it is a lot more expensive -- Iberrico gives you the best quality:cash spent ratio. But on quality of food, alone, I give the edge to Emilio's.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

We ended up getting advised to go to Lawry's (friend from Chicago and hotel concierge). I wish we would have gone somewhere else.

Was able to make it to the Bongo Room for breakfast on Sunday and it was pretty great.

Didn't end up hitting any bars...it seemed dead in Chicago (must have been the easter weekend lull).

Went to Shedd aquarium and the Field Museum on sunday. Laughed at Soldier Field (it really does look like a spaceship landed inside the stadium.

Good weekend.

It sounds like you were in the loop, in which case it's always like that.
