I think he just started playing with them on the Rather Ripped tour.

Apparently Kim doesn't feel like playing bass anymore. I don't know if that really makes Ibold a member of the band.

yeah I just read an interview where they basically all shrugged when asked if Ibold was considered a member of the band. I don't know, I always liked him if only for the fact that he was the only member of Pavement who seemed to not fucking hate playing in that band.

I'm pretty sure the Residents are really Phil Collins and Rubert Hine.
