Apologies if someone else already made this thread (I didn't find it).
I already know that I'm behind the times.

It had some great bits, but, overall, the flick just left me kinda flat. Just... meh. I found myself more interested in guessing which parts were staged with actors, than I did in the story, itself.

I laughed.
Then I shrugged.

Todd, you have to learn to sit back, relax, and just enjoy a film for what it is.

Yeah, I guess it lacked character development and a compelling plot. There wasn't even much suspense.

I did.
Just probably saw it too late in the game, so it was impossible to meet expectations, I guess.

too much of what made the final movie was scripted.

watch the extras on the dvd...that's the real borat, and it's much funnier than the movie itself.

I laughed so hard in the theater, but I felt like I had seen or heard of 75% of the segments before going to see it. Not sure if it was all the youtube clips or just me reading too much beforehand.

On second viewing, it was still good but I didn't laugh as much.

I still haven't seen Borat, PT, but given the fact that you don't think SEINFELD is funny, I'm not sure you have the world's most finely-tuned comedy radar. But I lurv ya anyway, ya lil' lug! At least we know (for the most part) your music radar works just fine.

I thought it was hilarious, but I don't understand how anyone could watch it more than once. It's like Jackass in a lot of ways.

After I saw the Borat movie, I got pretty thoroughly sick of the character. His appearance on Leno was terrible.

Yeah, the scripted parts kind of diminished the appeal of this movie.

Meh. By the time I saw the movie, the internet and this office had already ruined it for me.

Oh no, I DO think Seinfeld is funny. I just have a hard time watching an entire episode of those assholes digging themselves into deeper and deeper shit. I realize that's what the humour is based upon, but it's painful for me at the same time that it's funny.

Just can't sit through a whole episode. But I DO laugh at what I can sit through. And I can appreciate it.

There were some very funny (and a couple hilarious) parts, but overall, I found it to be "meh" also. Probably the victim of too much hype.

Not only did I think it was very funny, but I also loved the satire. I agree with the sentiments about the goodness of bonus material. Cheese and Sexydrownwatch=

Sorry for the confusion. I now do remember you mentioning the negativity of the show before. My bad.

I heard no parts were staffed with actors, except the scene with Pamela A.

The movie rawked.

I never tire of Seinfeld.

If I go home right after work I go from PTI to the hour block of Seinfeld on TBS. Even if it's just on in the background.

TBS was genius to pick up the syndication on those shows but then again WHO THE FUCK WATCHES EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND!?!?!??

My blood pressure literally rises a little when it comes on. Garbage.
