Corzine was driving, collided with another vehicle, & drove off, or the other way 'round?

well, the way the local news is telling it, he was hit and the guy took off, but I don't know how anybody in either car of his motorcade could've not caught the plate number or even caught up with the red bronco.

Apparently, he was on his way to the Imus meeting

Yet another colorful chapter in the life and times of our *cough "beloved" Guv'ner Corzine. Ugh.

I'm not exactly his biggest fan.

If it was McGreevey, at least we could have had a thread full of jokes about him getting rear-ended.

According to the local news (Philly ABC 6 Action News), Corzine is in critical but stable condition with, and I'm not making this up:

-12 broken ribs
-broken femur
-broken sternum
-broken collarbone
-broken vertebrae

And it turns out that he wasn't wearing his seatbelt.

But the libertarian in you begs that the seat-belt not be an imposition from the state. One must use one's own judgment to decide upon proper vehicle safety.

& the occasional libertarian who dies in an horrific accident, for flouting the gov't's intrusion on his freewill -- collateral damage.
