i found it interesting that as soon as i heard there was a shooting spree at a school i automatically assumed it was a skinny white kid with a NIN shirt.

This office is a mess. Everyone here either went to, or has a kid at, tech. I'm checking on all the interns now.

While I never look foward to the eventual media frenzy that inevitably happens with every story like this, I feel terrible for everyone at that school and anyone who has a loved one there...I can't even imagine.

I love listening to these college kids give their accounts of what happened this morning. "And theeeeeen, the RA was like, screaming at us to stay in our rooms. And like, I love this school. I'm from fairFAX?"

Funny college accents aside, these kids are really holding up well. I'm pretty sure that if 20something people were killed anywhere near me, I'd pass out.
