I just read that Vanderbilt is ranked number one in College Baseball right now, and their women's bowling team won the National Title. Add that in with the relatively great NCAA Men's Basketball tournament, and the Commodores are doing pretty well right now.
Since the Huskers are fairly mediocre this year in baseball, it would be nice to see a team like Vandy make the CWS and possibly win it like Oregon State did last year. Right now I'd say anyone but Texas.

The Atl. crew *might* care since Vandy is an SEC school.

Oregon State is ranked #9 right now and is 28-8. I wasn't trying to rile anyone up, and if I'm like Schmoo so be it. I follow college sports and thought I would be nice and give them props, since they aren't really known for being good at sports.

My brother-in-law lives in Nashville, and the ironic thing is that even there, in Vanderbilt's HOMETOWN, everybody roots for the Tennessee Vols WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more than the Vanderbilt Commodores. And that's just fucked up.
