Dear Moderators,

Would it bea easier to require new members to be approved before they can begin to post?
It would be faster to approve the member, than to erase all the garbage, no?

Except that only admins (read: me) can approve new users, and only I get the e-mails about who needs to be vetted. Which means that this system is just a hell of a lot more work for me. Possibly too much work for it to be worth maintaining the board anymore.
