bingo. Had an accounting final last night from 7 to 10, preceded by a proffessor taking us out for drinks. So I was relaxed. Don't know how well I did, but suddenly I wasn't sweating it.

Plus preparing to move, and wife's new bidness.

It's good, really good for an opening month. We're still working out the stupid stuff you can't see coming before-hand, but I think we got a lot of really important things right. It's different, in a good way, than everything else around here. Sales keep growing, and the areas that need to grow are, slowly. Fickerson has been awesome, and she may quote me on that. First Mate got some extremely good people.

Do all the Obner Wisconsinites know about the store? We need to support our own.

I guess so, but I don't want charity, I want that shit to be good enough to draw support from total strangers on its own right.

Having said that, it is always nice when someone visits (when I'm there, which isn't all that often). "I know your husband from the board" ... that would be funny.

It's not charity. That's what friends are for.

Refurbishing my dungeon(s) with that wallpaper print that Z posted. Should be cheaper to knock them out that way, than with a roofie.

I was gonna post in this thread about how I'm busy moving, etc., but… I was too busy. Just got my computer set up at the new place (temporarily until I get my desk over here) so I'm taking a little break. And, man, it's so nice having my own wireless connection and not having to pirate my neighbors' slow, unreliable one.

In addition to moving, there's still some final wedding stuff and helping my fiancee with some of her school projects.

Plus I'm dealing with this company that's contacted me several times before asking if I'm available for freelance work. Whenever I actually am (and then try to plan around working for them), they never actually come through with work. This time, I'm honestly hoping that they still won't because I've got plenty of other shit going on. I could really use the money, though, and I need to find out if I can ever really establish some kind of working relationship with them.

Well, anyway, these new Bill Callahan and Cornelius albums are good.

About 3 weeks from now I will be. Yeah, it's been a long engagement (just over a year).

I wondered where you'd been lately. Hope you find your cat.
