be careful there, rodney... remember we had lunch with a certain Dr. Marco not too long ago, and I don't think he was egregiously attired.

Ok, why is it that the majority of foreign singers have a neutral, nearly "American" accent when singing? I noticed this again Monday night watching a Japanese Beatles cover band called Silver Beats opening for The Killers, who, I'm not ashamed to say, put on a really good concert.

And, GAR, I learned how to tie a bow tie in 10 minutes when I was a junior in high school. Get with it, ya oaf.

Bloor, I lollered at the Bama license plate joke.

*although if put to the test, there is no fucking way I could tie one right now.

Tracks 3, 6 and 8 on Sam's Town kick major ass. I can't believe that the producers didn't stab the mustachioed one whilst recording Track 7.

The hard part is getting the second piece of the bow through the loop.

Yeah, Touche. Of course, I could de-re-negate this if I got the janky 'Choose Life Plates." A little thing that makes me angrier than it should (one of many, but this one more than any) is FAUX CHILDREN'S WRITING. Fuck it makes me mad. Its not cute, it looks uneven, and fucking stupid.

I still get a chuckle about you freaking out about that shit on Gunz's car.

- googled "Richway" to see what would come up... alas, a blog!
http://georgiaretailmemories.blogspot.c ... richs.html

It was a sad day when the Rich's department stores closed for good. I don't go for this Macy's/Rich's bullshit.

I would just as soon blank this day out of existence and every shitty observation with it. They don't come much worse than this.

Tonight I got to send a dude to jail - I was at the computer, doing comps, when CRASH, this guy throws an empty keg that hadn't been locked up yet, and tosses a sand-filled cigarette bucket behind it, and proceeds to storm off into the alleyway yelling. One of our off-duty managers gets his rage on and proceeds to shove the guy down the alleyway while said high dude rants on and on about how he's going to kill us and he is an ex soldier and a black belt . . . he was wearing shorts, a ripped green polo shirt, and was carrying a duct-taped dowel rod.

His mistake was whipping the dowel rod around in aaron's face while there was me and three of my servers just behind him - lucky he didn't get a beat-down, but he was forcibly ejected from the alleyway, almost in front of a passing car.

He proceeds to throw another temper tantrum, and called the cops for assault . . . 5 minutes later, they show up, arrest HIM for public intoxication, and gladly allow me to file criminal trespassing charges against him.

Just one of the fun things happening at the bar this evening.

I knew something would go wrong today. I knew it. Every single time my boss singles me out for doing something well or especially helpful/efficient, the next day/event gets f'd up. I really wish I had that life rewind button...
