I got a pair of Maui Jim's for my birthday last year, but finally went to the eye doctor and got the lenses switched. Got the amber color with the mirrored fronts. ROCK!!

We had 70 degree weather last week so I went out and bought celebratory sandals and capris. Now it's only about 50 degrees, but I'm wearing them, dammit.

I think I'm getting a puppy.

I bought Wilco tickets two weeks ago and still have not received them yet. I'm a little nervous.

I told my boss to "get a grip" today. Sometimes, I really like the environment I work in.

wow, just got out of a marathon MOSS 2007 setup on a test network... I know you're all envious beyond belief, but.... re: the consultant I was working with:

- he happened to be from North Carolina... we talked ACC sports for a bit, and I expressed my irrational hatred for any blue/white teams
- his girlfriend happens to be working at the same company as him, and they moved out to Portland together without a plan about 2 years ago i.e. they're both IT geeks
- he had a stud diamond earring in his left ear
- he had on a nice Banana Republic shirt (I recognize those fuckers now)
- occasionally his eyes would wander down while I was talking to him... to my cute ballet flats? to my rockin' capris? to my décolletage?

Typically I don't like them.... if you had asked me back in 1986, I probably would have said differently. What's my take? As in do I think they're gay or not? I dunno... I'm kinda done with trying to figure out why people choose to accessorize the way they do, but typically, no, I'm not into pierced or tattooed guys.

Oh no, I just meant if it was aesthetically pleasing to you or not. I'm not typically for the way it looks, but I can be swayed on most things.

Anything can be aesthetically pleasing dependent upon the personality, imo.
