i got a macbook... no printscreen button how the F do i snag the screen?

Shift+Cmd+3 (i think it's 3) will give you a crosshair so you can select what you want. I think just Cmd+3 will do the whole screen.

It's easy, it's just been a few years since I was on a mac.

Command-Shift-4 + Spacebar [active window to disk] OS X 10.2
Command-Shift-4 + Spacebar + Control [active window to clipboard] OS X 10.2

When the hell did Caps lock get thrown in there. Yuck.

Also, does is still pop up on your hard drive as Picture 01, Picture 02, etc.? I don't need to know, but that would point these dudes in the right direction.

it confused me because it made a file on my desktop...
thats actually handier than windows
but i didnt know what the hell was going on
