Congrats, Busty!!! Hard to believe how quickly THE McINTOSH FIVE has gone from four bachelors and a Squirrgle to four grooms and a Derris!

No worries Bob. I'm holding on the bachelorhood like grim death.

Geez, there must be some Obner "Let's Get Married" virus going around -- it's infecting everyone!! Congrats, man!

i don't want to be a downer here, but there also seems to be an obner "let's get divorced/separated" virus making the rounds.

Outside of Dalen, who else?... I would think that chuck(e)d's was far enough back, & he's weathered it well enough with used panties from coed psychology majors littering his floor, that he doesn't count, anymore.

Is this about the neuros? (I always figured it impertinent to ask... But since you've broached the obner divorce rate, well,...)

i shouldn't've mentioned it in this thread. that was inappropriate. let's just say you catch things here and there in the most unusual threads.

this is busty's congratulations thread. so let's keep with that.

I didn't even know you were the one who brought it up. I transposed yours & Aural's comments, & decided to ask, since the latter is a mod. So, I figured I had a net to catch my fall....

I'm pretty sure we could pull this exact quote from some circa 2005 LooGAR post, and possibly even a circa 2006 Yail Bloor post.

Busty's always been whipped, though...haha.

I've been engaged since late 2005 but thanks for thinking of me, Bobert.

You were engaged pre-(attempted)truckjacking? For some reason, I thought SHEBLOOR fending off attacking truckjackers while you attempted evasive maneuvers behind the wheel is what once and for all proved to you she was the one for whom you would spend the rest of your Kurtz life with.

OK, that post sounded a little too Monty, even by my standards.

Thanks, mang...

But, yeah -- wasn't Bloor engaged before LooGAR, maybe even six months before, but just kept it quiet?

You're probably right, Montague.

I think what's throwing me off is LooGAR's actually walking down the plank, I mean, aisle before Bloor.

By the way, where in Napa is that? My brother is getting married in Napa next week.

When you hit the girl lottery (hot, good job, good taste, and puts up with his shit) you gotta capitalize on that shit. Lock it in, before she changes her mind.

Will there be Chick-fil-A catered in for the recpetion?

Allegedly. Gotta get the ring to make it official ;)

Also, I KNOW I couldn't have handled being engaged any longer than I was... not sure how Bloor or another of our friends have done it.

Just to clear this up so you can sleep well tonight, Bob:

-The carjacking thing happened in the summer of 2005

-we decided to get married in the fall of 2005 but as LooGAR pointed out, there was no ring and all.

-the ring and all that happened Christmas 2005

Any other details from my personal life you need to know? Despite my best efforts they all seem to leak out eventually anyways.

Nothing, other than your W-2s from 1999 and 2003.
