I like the few singles I have heard... Worth exploring any farther?

I think I hate this band more than any other currently out there...

I bought Elephunk, but radio effectively killed the album.

i thought they were terrible when they were underground, and now i think they are painfully terrible now that they are big.

I made out with the chick from the Black Eyed Peas in the Urbz.

has there been a sketch on SNL or Chappelle depicting the merciless beating with baseball bats these do-gooders so richly fucking deserve? man, i would pay at least a few shiny quarters to see some blood get spilt, GTA style...

I think they're great for a mainstream act. I mean, I don't know shit about them, but they seem like the closest thing to a positive influence our mainstream culture can handle (though they do appear to traffic in shallow platitudes and contradictory imagery).

But I don't quite know why anybody would want to listen to 'em.

i like a few songs from their previous two albums, but i bet elephunk is baaad. and that chick is like the ebola virus. with a mic.

I like Elephunk. It's catchy and poppy with a cross of rock.

And I like looking at the girl.

i remember seeing them before behind the front was released, and i dug them. and they were great at the de la soul concert i went to a few years ago... but i would never go see them live again after elephunk was released. bridging the gap is okay. elephunk was just plain HORRID.

behind the front is the only one worth checking out imho.

I mentioned to a friend recently how I think they seem like the biggest sell-outs on the planet lately. Since I never really listen to the radio or watch MTV, the only places I hear their songs are commercials.

And I still manage to hear them a lot.

I never listen to the radio and don't do much TV, which means I never got burnt out on 'em...didn't even really realize they were so omnipresent.

I liked the disc.

Being out of the loop has its advantages.

"Let's Get It Started" or whatever is the best made-for-TV promtional song in recent memory.......Shit, maybe since "Start Me Up"

I also like a couple of their earlier tracks off of Behind the Front.

That being said, I think that they are garbage. But honestly, they don't bother me as much as a lot of people. They seem fairly harmless albeit slightly repugnant-----kinda like I always felt about The Fugees.

Another vote for no. This shit's inescapable, and I don't really watch much TV or listen to radio - its always being played when im at a bar or playing pool though.

i can't think of a more obvious case of someone getting a job in music strictly because of her appearance. she is so fucking talentless that it's embarrassing. remember when Will.I.Am. was a shitty backup dancer? I see little difference between that and his gig now.
