Holy Mother I just found this out!!

My husband's band is opening for Jeff Tweedy solo/benefit show March 4th at the Vic theatre.

Holy crap I'm doing a happy dance. That and I think my heart's about to pop out of my chest.

What, no Joseph Arthur on the 2nd stage?

Seriously, congrats to you and Josh. Big ups.

Future press materials can now say "have worked with Jeff Tweedy." That's prime.

Let it be noted that Mansteak was scheduled to play this instead but our drummers ODed.

Ah, well, you know,... I don't really know if Mansteak would be quite fit for an audience heavy on Tweedy fans. Middle-aged housewives, men who wear trucker-hats unironically, and music-lifers who never quite made it but soldier on in built-for-arenae prog-bands, are quite ready for garbage-can vomitoria as a significant aspect of a rock act.... Ok, maybe the prog-rockers, some of them, but they'd probably have to be as into Queen as Queensryche to really get into it. They would have to love theatre, and camp... And as we all know, there is no camp in the year 2112.

Oh, yes, and congratulations to the newlywed groom and his doting wife.

I have always said that if you like Wilco, you will love these guys.
This is the perfect bill, short of opening for the whole band.

Hi, i'm josh. I play keyboards in Riviera. I'm jen's (charlie's) husband. here's the like to my bands website . Very excited about this show, it's been about a year and a half in planning, and I'm still letting this all sink in. Hope to see some of you out there. We've got a new album comming out on Glorious Noise records in April along with a release show at Schubas. http://www.riviera-sound.com
