Apparently, the deal is that you can buy 2 boxsets for $9.95 and you're only commitment is to buy two more movies priced $19.95 or higher.

For example, a guy I know is ordering the complete Monty Python collection, which goes for $160 and Coupling seasons 1-4, which goes for $70. Since he now only has to buy 2 more movies at $19.95 each, he'll be paying about $56 total (with S&H) for 2 boxsets and 2 movies worth a total of about $260.

I'm not doing it, but I'm sure it could benefit someone here. Here's how it goes:

1) Click this link - this should automatically connect you to the deal with the monty python set already in your cart (which you can remove if you don't want it)

2) Choose your sets - you can choose from the ones listed or pretty much any other ones in their catalog. To select ones not listed on the site, look at this thread on dvdtalk. There are product numbers scattered throughout it. By inserting these numbers into the html address, you can pretty much put any boxset they have in your cart - you'll have to read the thread for more info on this

3) Checkout

Did you sign up for 2 accounts? Lemme know how you did this because I'm lazy and don't feel like reading thru all those pages.

Amazon's had those on sale, BTW - I think some were like, $15. Dunno if the sale's still on, though.

I'm looking into this Columbia House thing now - thanks for the heads up.

I need to finish off all my current obligations

In other words I am a member of 2 DVD clubs, 2 music clubs, and 1 book club and am too fucking irresponsible to remember to decline them each month!
