That's how I got into them, but after absolutely loving "Songs for the Deaf", I have become obsessed with Josh Homme. I purchased the earlier QOTSA stuff, two Kyuss albums, a Desert Sessions album and Eagles of Death Metal. In my book, Josh Homme can do no wrong.

I am looking forward to this album more than any album in recent memory.

i heard their initial release, "little sister", and it's my least-fav initial single yet. it's good but nothing special.

i enjoyed both qotsa & eagles of death metal live. the lead dude from eodm is kinda creepy though... he wouldn't shut the fuck up about how many hot women there were in the audience.

i'm really diggin the new track "little sister," so i'm looking forward to this release.

A friend of mine just checked out the record.
He told me it was'nt that great...good but not great.

I still gotta check it out and get my own opinion.

Songs For the Deaf will be a hard record to top.

It's pretty grand. It's a rocker. But it's not HARD. It doesn't have any short songs of screaming like Songs For The Deaf did. It's more melodic, "stoner" rock. I liked it a lot, it had me rocking out.
