How is the Burrough's album? I only have him reciting 'The Priest They Called Him' with Cobain playing guitar in the background. I could listen to the guy talk all day.

It's brilliant.

1. William's Welcome
2. A Thanksgiving Prayer
3. Naked Lunch Excerpts
4. Ah Pook The Destroyer
5. After-Dinner Conversation
6. Kill The Badger
7. New Standard By Which To Measure Infamy
8. The Sermon On The Mount 1
9. No More Stalins
10. The Sermon On The Mount 2
11. Scandal At The Jungle Hiltons
12. The Sermon On The Mount 3
13. Love Your Enemies
14. Dr. Benway's House
15. Apocalypse
16. The Lord's Prayer
17. Ich Bin Von Kopf Bis Fuss Auf Liebe Eingestel

A classic blend of acerbic and caustic sociopolitical commentary set to music. Helping out on it: Sonic Youth, Donald Fagen, Lenny Pickett, Cheryl Hardwick, Chris Stein, and John Cale.

And Burroughs had THE Voice of all voices.

I still only have it on a old cassette, recorded from vinyl, but I saw it on Rhapsody/Audiogalaxy last time I was looking there.

Haven't looked to see if it's still in print, but I imagine it must be.

I just saw Howard Brookner's doc 'Burroughs' on the weekend, it was brilliant. There's a great scene of WSB visiting his brother in Missouri and who then rags on The Naked Lunch for being full of foul language and dirty stuff.

Finally arrived today. Amazon kept me waiting about a month. When I heard it coming through the letter box I went into orgasmic ecstacy. "YES! YES! YES! TWIN PEAKS!" I shouted running down the hall. Postman must think I'm nuts. I hope I don't have to sign for anything in the next few weeks or I'll be really embaressed.
