Maybe one of you can help me find something that's proving difficult to find here in Hawaii.

I need to buy a residential wireless intercom system with multiple panels that I can install inside and outside my home. Someone already mentioned Home Depot to me but the service and quality of their products are usually crap. Ideally I'd like something that's contractor grade and not some flimsy piece of shit that breaks within a month.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions where I might find something like this???

Radio Shack has these?

Its funny you mention them as we have one just down the road from us but yeah, theirs is probably not going to last very long eh?

There's probably an audio/visual planning company in your area which would sell exactly these kinds of products. They typically sell high end TV's, stereos, security systems ect. You might find one in the yellow pages, or if you know any high end home builders they can probably point you in the right direction.

I just found this one on Google. I wish I had a more stable company that I have done business with, but the truth is, the company I dealt with when I bought the security cameras for my business has gone under. Sorry.

EBAY, dude - they have the creepiest survival-types on there with their own lil' stores....

Nothing like buying a roll of overpriced Glo-Flex, only to find a miniature knife and ads for tasers/professional stinkbombs as a "bonus gift"... I've probably been tagged by the FBI as a survivalist wacko for trying to make a kickball more glow-in-the-darkish...

So, no good? Or are you just making a joke....

I also need to find a car stereo that has both a cd player AND a tape deck all in one. I don't think they make these anymore. Maybe Ebay is the best way to go for both of these items....

Hmmm. If I buy that I'll have to use a portable cd player with it won't I? I hate the hassel of inserting that tape with the wire that leads to an outlet plug that goes into your portable cd player. It ends up skipping a lot plus sliding all over the place.

Did any stereo manufacturers ever make a in-dash dual purpose cd AND cassette player???

yes they did. They probably made one for your make and model too, in a double din size. What year make and model do you have?

This is for a 1992 Nissan Sentra...only 182,000 miles on it.

Are you saying to go order one from a dealership?!

$265 for a Sony

http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?ica ... vbname=309

$260 for a JVC

$275 for a Pioneer

I'd go Sony.

I really miss my Honda. It had a sweet dual-bay -- one had the radio and the cassette player, the other had the in-dash CD player. Both were removable fronts. I still have them (from when it was totalled). The controls for the CD player were in the top portion, the bottom was pure display -- it had the coolest moving graphic spectrum analyzer.

Try Crutchfield. They have great help for the car. Click on "What Fits My Car?" It wants to know if you have the Coupe or Sedan.
