So a bunch of you saw it this weekend. What did you think?

- I loved it and thought it was hilarious
- I wish they had used Paul Rudd a little more
- It ran a little long, but you could see the intention behind the scenes that may be viewed as a little extraneous
- The scenes with the slacker buddies were awesome - especially the pink eye scene
- I loved that a lot of the actors were from Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared

Anyways, I have toyed with the idea of seeing it again today since its raining and nasty, but I'll prob end up not doin it. Though I'm thinking I'll see it at least once more in the theaters.

Not the best name for a movie, not a premise I'm interesting in seeing a movie about, but the filmmaker pedigree is very appealing.

I really liked this movie. Similar to 40 year-old virgin - very funny, but also warm and fuzzy.

And i have to give them props for even mentioning abortion. They didn't dwell on it long, and didn't get too into it (which would have to have been delicate, to say the least), but since it's a thought that would at least cross the minds of many women, I think it's good that it was there.

It derailed slightly towards the end, but I laughed consistently all the way through. I can't think of too many other comedies I have seen this year that were better than this one.

I thought it was really funny as well. When the bouncer said, "I can't let you in cuz you old as fuck", I nearly lost my face. Just the way the dude said it had me crackin' up. Also, the shrooms/Cirque was hilarious.

Even though there is no Catherine Keener in the movie and I am basically disinterested in the concept of breeding, I think I'd like to see it so I'm glad to hear it is getting pretty good reviews.

My brother wants me to tag along on a big "triple header" next Sunday to see this, Pirates 3 and Oceans 13. I think I'm going to do it.

Speaking of, no one is talking about Ocean's 13. I'm excited.

I'm pretty pumped about Ocean's 13. Cause, you know, I even liked Ocean's 12.

Yeah, sometimes I play up the hate because I want everyone to like me, but I liked 12 as well, despite the whole end epiphany "hey, Julia Roberts looks just like... Julia Roberts!!!" was kind of lame.

After Pirates 3, you won't want to go into a movie theater for a long time, least of all to see the sequel to Ocean's 12.

I haven't seen a Jerry Bruckheimer film since The Rock (including the other two pirates movies) and I don't plan on voluntarily seeing one.

Can't wait for Superbad now.

Pirates 3 is the one I would skip out on to make the day shorter as I haven't seen the second one. My brother's plans have a way of fizzling anyway, which is why I agreed.

I wouldn't mind two movies in the same day, though.

I'd like to see this but I think that 40 year old virgin got a pass because it didn't suck.

I hated 40 Year old Virgin, I thought it was really slow and boring. Then again I watched a while after it had come out and I was expecting a lot from it from the way my friends hyped it/ qouted it non stop.

This was way funnier than 40 Year Old Virgin, which I didn't dislike. I think I was just expecting too much. A title like "40 Year Old Virgin" almost seems like a guarantee of endless side-splitting laughs.

i liked it. it ran a little long, but the laughs were pretty consistent throughout. also, the numerous cameos ("the office", "freaks and geeks", "undeclared") were funny.

my only real complaint was way too many timed references.

Knocked up was pretty hysterical...

And, though the triple feature seems like a good idea, I might just go for an Oceans 13 / Knocked Up double bill. From what I hear, Pirates is much too long, and would pretty much double your time at the theater...

Mexican Junior says he thinks The 40-Year-Old Virgin is much funnier, but Big Dave Yoda Talkin' vehemently disagrees, giving an emphatic edge to Knocked Up. They did disappoint me by detailing the fact that Katherine Heigl never got any skimpier then her bra, even during the sex scenes.
