you enjoy them, i don't. simple as that really. it's not that i don't -get them-, i understand what they're doing. it's not like extreme dude, and i just don't enjoy it.

Lightning Bolt can be wayyyyy out there, but they also put out a more accessible album called "Wonderful Rainbow."

It's my favorite album of theirs, and one of my favorite albums period. I would recommend it even if you didn't like their other albums.

Just because you don't enjoy it, doesn't mean it's crap, and doesn't mean that they're rocking for the "brah" generation. Maybe bands in FLA that try and sound like them have gotten that rep (due to that Gainesville scene, if it still exists), but not in the major cities, dude...

You'll hear Muse on the One Tree Hill soundtrack before you hear Adam Brody whisper a word about Lightning Bolt, and I doubt they play to any more 15-20 year oldsat a wherehouse show in Providence than Muse did on that massive Cureopa tour (whatever it was called), and they definitely didn't play to more "dudes"...

i've been to lightning bolt shows and they were WAY more entertaining than the one muse show i went to.

Actually it isn't as simple as that when you make senseless statements alongside your "I don't like them" which in this case was "man do they suck." Of course you can just back away whenever someone confronts you, that's cool too.

ok, maybe 17-18, same age as most emo shows. not that age really has anything to do with it at the end of the day....the videos from halloween just looked like an awful band playing in some middle school auditorium in the czech republic.

also, i'm not denying the fact that the cover was awful, and the comments from Matt were ghey. i enjoy muse, but i'm not a fanboy for any band [cept the beatles].
