I started with Things ... . I would suggest moving chronologically through the catalogue, starting with their first.

If you want to see the evolution of their sound, then start at the beginning. Personally, I started with The Curtain Hits the Cast. It has my favorite Low song on it, "Do You Know How to Waltz?" which is 14:37 of pure bliss.

Edit: I think Things We Lost in the Fire is their best, though.

I have yet to go backward yet, though.

I appreciate the chronological idea, but I'm not sure if I'm going to get them all eventually, so I need to be hooked first.

Another vote for Things.

On vinyl, if possible.

hey it sounded almost funny to me even before i posted it.

i really don't have the patience or genuine "like" for their vocals to sit through an entire low record, let alone a show. i walked out of the one show of theirs i attended.

Recently got Things and loved it, but I'm waiting to get Long Division, and possibly the Fishtank ep....

I kind of wanted to take a stab at The Great Destroyer, but judging from earlier posts, it dosen't seem worth getting...?[/b]
