This is pretty heartbreaking. More heartbreaking than that picture of the dog with the hook in his snout anyway. It's the one Wilco song I've wanted to hear that I haven't in something near twenty shows. This is a lot for a fanboy to deal with. And the kicker is that it was like 10 miles away from my house.

They played some bar in Brooklyn...wasn't exactly an easy ticket. Some guy on craigslist was offering a ticket in a trade for some art but I didn't have anything that wet his whistle. The capacity is 800 so it's more than I thought it was but still, they sold out Hammerstein so it was no surprise these went extremely quickly.

It's all in Tweedy's delivery, when his voice goes out on the "I'll be yours, you'll be mine." This is one of my favorite Wilco songs.
