Finally, LA gets to host it...

Friday March 25th - Lebowski Fest West Pre-Party - $15
@ The Knitting Factory - 7021 Hollywood Blvd. Suite 209 - Doors 9pm

- Stand-up/ventroliquist act by actress Lu Elrod (Waitress)!
- Music by SKL as "Autobahn", Jamie Coon, and others TBA
- Appearances by Jeff "The Dude" Dowd, Lu Elrod, and possibly others.
- Followed by a midnight film screening

Saturday March 26th - Lebowski Fest West - LA! - $25
@ The Cal Bowl - 2500 E. Carson Street, Lakewood - 8pm to 1am

- Bowling* and shoe rental included (68 Lanes!)
- Costumes, Trivia, Bowling Contests
- Appearances by:
- David Huddleston (The Big Lebowski)
- Jerry Haleva (Saddam)
- Jeff "The Dude" Dowd
- Jim Hoosier (Liam)
- Robin Jones (Ralph's Checkout girl)
- Possibly others TBA
- What-Have-You

Getting your picture with "The Dude" and Saddam...priceless.

This is right on par with a Star Trek convention. Lebowski's a good movie, but a festival featuring cling on-calibur actors? I'd rather spend an afternoon discussing the most influential artists of the latter half of the century with Dalen. No offense, Dalen.
