I know this has been out since February, but I don't see any threads about it.

RIYL... ELO, P:ano, yacht rock, beat boxing. Despite venturing conspicuously in some questionable directions, Tones of Town is a really tight pop record and manages never to succumb to its sometimes-hilarious trappings. But I kind of keep expecting to hate it on the next listen.

Is anybody else listening to this? Have they always sounded like this? I saw Aural describe them as lofi, which doesn't fit the new album at all.

that track kinda reminded me of the high llamas a bit. is this the best track on the album or what?

I think the new album is a step up from their last one. Too bad it didn't take long for them to end it.

not really, i kind of picked one at random because i didn't have a #1 favorite or anything. it's a really consistent album.
