So I was a Best Man in my friend's wedding this weekend, and thought I would share some of the highlights and lowlights.
Thursday was the bachelor party and besides the obligatory trip to a titty bar, we went to the big country bar in town and rode the mechanical bull. I had some reservations about entering the bar, since I had my hair in a faux hawk and figured some redneck might want to start a fight for me looking "ghey".
Luckily nobody said a word, and I dominated the mechanical bull.
The wedding was outside, as was the rehearsal, and it was unbelievably hot all this weekend. The rehearsal was at 3:00pm under a blazing sun and no breeze, while it was still rather warm saturday morning for the wedding as I was dressed in a tux, there was a nice breeze.
Both the wedding and reception were fairly small and there were no eligible singles. They did have free booze, but nobody real drank there and there was no dancing. So I had to make a trip to the downtown bars afterward to really drink.

That's what I'm wondering -- I read the whole paragraph and found no climax. Just a regular ol' wedding.

I wanna know how Deena and Phil's wedding went!

I'm sorry, I did not have an OPA like adventure, and I too was hoping to hear about the hardcore mongering by Colin at Phil's wedding.
As was commented, it was a wedding in Nebraska. It is hard to generate more excitement and adventure in this state other than riding the mechanical bull.
