preferably as a headliner.

How was the mix? I've seen them twice as an opener (Tool @ Wembley Arena last November, Metallica/H.I.M/Machine Head @ Wembley stadium yesterday), and the mix both times did not do them justice. They were really tight both times, but that doesn't come home with the mix is just really muddy and unbalanced.

I saw them out doors recently and the mix was fine. Blazingly loud, but fine. I should have worn ear plugs.

I'm pretty sure only barney hazelwood and harry are old enough to have seen a live mastodon.

But due to drugs, neither one rightly remembers it.

The mix was EXCELLENT when I saw them earlier this year in Nville. Absolutely perfect volume. Guitars were clear but crunchy. Vocals were indecipherable, but that's because of the growl.

I missed them last year with Slayer because I got to the venue late. I have no idea why Lamb Of God, who sucked, played ahead of Mastodon.
