I am the captain of my pain
Tis the bit, the bridle,
The trashing cane
The stirrup, the harness
The whipping mane
The pickled eye
The shrinking brain
O brother, buy me one more drink
I'll explain the nature of my pain
Yes, let me tell you once again
I am the captain of my pain

I bet the store has more whiskey. Or maybe you should call Dri, she might have some too.

Maybe you don't wish to recall them. 'Sides that's what friends are for...to torment you on the things you've done of which you have recollection of.

do you mean "i'm not drinking whisksy anymore". . . right, sure.

or di you mean "i have no whisky left". . . two words to remedy that problem. the first begins with l-i-q and the second ends with t-o-r-e

apparently when I got home I stormed up to my sister and said "listen here, you You know what your problem is?" and dropped something and then passed out.

considering the state I was in, any number of things could've completed that sentence. Fortunately, as usual my clumsiness got me out of a tight spot without my even realizing it. It did remind me, though, to start more conversations with "Listen here, you".

A side perk of all the riding / camping I've been doing of late is that I don't drink much... haven't been hungover in a while.

I only get hangovers after I've drank too much beer. Dammit, that stuff really kicks me on my ass. Liquor, though, I handle surprisingly well. I haven't drank either in a while...

try drinking a few Vampires. My brain still hurts. Girly drinks cripple me the next morning.

I've heard more than once that latent sugar is a major contributor to hangovers... champagne, etc. I have no idea if it's true or not.

Vodka and cran is my drink. I've never added the liqueur, though.

In the height of my drinking we'd go to the local dive and I'd have I-don't-know-how-many and end up with a tab of $9. Man, I miss those bar tenders...

dehydration is, and sugar dehydrates.
