First, for those who care and didn't know, the new album comes out Feb 22.

Second, does anyone know where they're from? It doesn't say on the web site. Just that they're from "the South." I was thinking maybe the name was a reference to Leon County, ie Tallahassee.

Tennesse mostly. Their pops/one of them's uncle is/ was a precaher. They allegedly travelled with him and lived ina station wagon and then concocted this sound whole cloth, after only hearing Jebus-based music for most of their lives.

I really wanna hear the new one/like the old one a lot.

If you like the old one, you'll like the new one. It's a great album, pick it up immediately.

I've heard bits-n-bobs of their latest on satellite radio and I liked it. I've not heard their debut - is it worth exploring?

I love the new one. Didn't like the old one that much.

I liked the old one and like the new one. The new one seems a bit harder, but I thought the first one had more catchy hooks and riffs. I'd like to hear it if they put the best of both releases together for the next one.

I alwasy thought the first one sounded kinda like a cross between the Strokes and Creedence.

and I hate .38 Special

I know quite a few people who didn't like their debut but love their 2nd album. I'm eager to hear it.

I'm a big fan of both albums and I'll second the Strokes/Credence comparison. Catchy stuff.
