I have no idea. My guess is some random Milwaukee guy.

Also, unless brewers.com is lying, Cordero has only given up one HR (excluding the one from the All Star Game), but I know you know far more about baseball than I do.

I also still look over my shoulder whenever I run that counterplan.

I feel like this sort of thing happens relatively often.

I know. I almost never want to drink beer again.

Looks like it's back to scotch for me...

For Wisconsin beer you can't go wrong with most of the New Glarus beer, especially Spotted Cow. Sand Creek Brewery (which is located in my home town) also makes some pretty good beer. I would recommend their Chocolate Oatmeal Stout, Woody's Wheat, Wild Ride IPA, and Black River Red.

p.s. Who's Monty?

p.p.s. when it happens, I drink Guinness. Otherwise it's scotch.

I've fallen back in love with Smuttynose IPA out of Maine since coming back out here. Hop-a-licious. And Harpoon is a really underrated brewery. Their summer ale stopped me in my tracks last night. Shits GOOD.

hmm, out of the beers mentioned here, I haven't tried that one or the Yuengling. I looked for Yuengling in NYC, but never came across it in any of the places I went. Bummer.

And I am a hop whore.... I LOVE HOPS. Give me an IPA and I'll be a happy girl. Malty sweet beers only work in the wintertime for me, and even then, in measured moderation.

Smutty's a very sharp, crisp, straight-to-the-point IPA. Not the sweet malty undertone of a Sierra Nevada, and not the 2-tone hop explosion of the Dogfish offerings. One strong hop flavor, a little malt under it, and that's it.

Yuengling isn't "horrid", but it isn't some great beer you absolutely have to try, either.

It's just really good for the price.
