actually, at the modest mouse show on tuesday night, i had ONE beer. and that's it. then last night at my co-worker's going away party, i didn't drink. this clarity thing is really working... i'm not going to quit drinking completely- i love my booze way too much, i just need to take a break for a few. don't worry, i'll be back.

i'm actually back to 79% heqalth (believe me, that's as good as i get. I've got an immune system that can build houses, but that's about it) so i'm gona go out and drink myself stupid tonight.



Dri, that's actually a good idea. I went off the sauce for December and it was actually kinda refreshing to go out to bars and be the lucid one. I also saved money and practically quit smoking. The only problem was that my insomnia came back at me like a sledgehammer. The return, however, was glorious. enjoy it!

My next batch of beer isn't done carbonating yet, so I have a Real Ale Brewing Company (Blanco, Texas) sampler 6er waiting for me at home. Not much to do anoche, so I might spark up some of my remaining reminder of dear sweet Oregon . . . but then again, the new job that I really want and just applied for might require a peepee test.

You should only drink to help you dance in public, ask girls out or give you super monkey-like jumping and climbing skills. I can't imagine a need for any of these at your own place.
