I saw it last night and thought it was decent. I'm not that big into Harry Potter, but the people that I went with were. They were dissapointed because it left stuff out from the book, I just thought that theyre wasn't enough stuff going on.

i dug it, though apparently i'm in the minority. i thought the pace was good, as they had to keep moving to get through the major storyline. it still felt a tad long, but that book is enormous. i also saw it in imax, and the 3D ending totally got it done.

I saw it a second time tonight and enjoyed it a lot more than the first time.

Yeah, I enjoyed the first viewing. All the adult principals brought their 'A' game, and Radcliffe and Grint are growing into their own a little bit (Emma Watson still ownz, though). Great effects, and a good job of getting the important stuff in and dropping some hints for number 6. This is probably second behind the third film.

Where does the countdown clock stand? Can't be too much longer, as D-Rads is already 18.

i thought it was pretty good. lots of stuff was left out, but then you have to keep a balance of putting it all in and movie length. this movie above all else makes me wish the producers/directors were shooting tons of scenes, and then releasing an extended dvd version a la LOTR.

The countdown clock isn't loading on my computer, so in case anyone else is interested, she is currently 17 and will turn 18 on the 15th of April.

If I was a parent and there were a lot of people online wondering when my child became legal, I'd be rather weirded out.

Saw it yesterday and enjoyed it. I agree that it's not the best one, though, and it kind of just felt like it was just barely inching the overall plot forward. It didn't really feel like any of the character's roles or relationships developed as much as they had in the past except for the Harry/Voldemort thing. (I haven't read and don't plan on reading any of the books.)

Anyway, I'm still looking forward to the next two.
