I'm playing some itunes (right now, Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers) ate a bagel + salmon for dinner and am about to pour my second Guinness.

It's highly doubtful at this stage, unfortunately. I gotta get a job. I thought I was going to be back at work at this point (and even got kinda screwed out of a campaign I wanted)

I have a meeting next week, and will probably call some DC folks as well...my company has pissed me off at this point. Not enough to quit outright, but enough to look for a different place to work/start thinking more about law school, etc..

There's always a chance. I figure if I can get two paychecks under my belt before then, which is a possibility, I could swing the friday-saturday, leave sunday trip. And it would be worth it. I had so much fun last year it's enough to make me make sacrifices to get there again.

I have about 400 discs. I also have close to 200 burned from Derris. When we worked together there was a time when we basically sat around and burned eavh other's collections.

I have a 40GB iPod that is barely 20GB full at this point. I am in a musical rut. I need a new group, like The Stones to conquer.

Sitting at home drinking Jack and coke and I've just watched Goodfellas.

What's on your mind, Senator?

I know, dude. It's sad. I thought about titling this thread "I will pass frostingspoon by dawn"

I don't know how I got to be #2, except that I get bogged down in argument threads a lot. Big problem of mine is inability to let shit go.

I'm getting better at that than I used to be, but my inability to stop from posting surreal and facetious b.s. just because it cracks me up has not improved.

I've been trying really hard this week to move out of the top ten, but I kinda failed today. It's actually funny, I've on several occasions this week just about posted in a variety of threads, but then I think...is it really necessary? Am I really adding anything? Does anyone really care? and after I answer no to all three of those I don't post and feel better. Again, today was a huge failure.

I'm not embarrassed about my post count because I'm well aware of why I do it so much, know exactly what circumstances in my life lead me to be in front of computers so often. Plus I really do crack myself up. Not that I'm actually funny or anything. Just retarded as hell.

Heh.

That's like calling Full House the best fucking awful show that your kids try to get you to watch with them.

I don't know what that meant, but it's probably true.
