I get that when I try to change my save folder, but it lets me share my folder easily.

It's not a network. It's like a buddy list. It's kind of an annoying way to do it, actually. I sent you an invite too, did you get it?

Clevercactus isn't working on my Linux!

It's either me not having Java set up right, or some other random issue I don't want to struggle to persue.

I'm on dial-up anyway and wouldn't be able to get as much of my download/upload on as the rest of yous. I'll just stick to good ol SLSK for the time being. I'll try out CC again in a while.

I don't know what the deal is. I'm just behind the windows firewall, but I unblocked the software. Is there something else I need to do for the windows firewall to let people look at my files.

Is it just a filesharing program? Like SoulSeek only your files are only available to people on your list? I thought it was just over the net, but it looks like I have to download something.

I have myself the same problem.

Launch the Clever Cactus program, and it should automatically connect. Make sure you have users added to your "People" list. Click on the "Add/Invite" button toward the upper right of the Clever Cactus screen.

Oh, and make sure you either accept your invite, or if you didn't receive an invite and just went to the Clever Cactus website to download the software, make sure you create an account based on your e-mail address.

Yes, you do have to download the basic program. It's kind of like a group version of AIM. You add users, just like a buddy list on AIM.

FT - how have you found the resume functionality to be? If I am in the middle of dling something and I get kicked off does it start where I left off when I log back in, or do I have to start over?
