I saw him last night and he was awesome. He kept getting up on this pedestal to sing some slower songs and I think he played a ukalele for 2 songs, at least that's what I think it was. In addition to a bassist and drummer he's got a violinist and cellist. I should've taken pictures but I was crammed in near the back of the room. If any of you are fans, you should check out the You Are The Light single because he played a few songs from that and they're pretty good.

yeah i got there around 10:15 and the doorguy said it was sold out but i could wait around if i wanted. i guess some people left and i finally got in around 11:20.

also, that room really sucks for shows.

the show last night was actually 18+ or so it said. i didn't see the doorman checking id's.

yeah, the girl promoting the show only does 18+ or all ages shows. i don't know how she got a hold of the bill. i'm still pissed we couldn't do it over at GS...but that would've been impossible, given the Pill's new residency.

oh well.

i think i got there around...11:30? i checked out the second band's material online, but wasn't impressed, thus i was trying to game it...and watch "Monk" on USA before i left.

way to go kev!
