For something you can buy in 3-packs, Zebra pens are quality and not expensive. Steel, baby. Nice and hefty, but not too big.

BLECH! I'd rather write in crayon. These are good for one thing, but it involves unscrewing the casing.

Yet you did, in fact, steal them. Every roommate I've ever had steals them. Even my fiance steals them.

For those of you who are into fountain pens, do yourselves a favor and look up "vanishing point".

I just bought myself a pair of Rotring 600's and a Lamy Safari.

I'm in the land surveying profession, which favors the use of mechanical pencils. Bics seem to be everyone's favorite still.

But I tried a different make of UniBalls and am nowhere near as happy.

Uni-ball pens are awesome. For school I'm using the Pilot G-2 pens because they write smoothly with little 'resistance' (not sure if I can explain what I mean on that one...). Also we're required to write everything in black ink, so I just bought a box of them. When I go to an office supply store, I can easily spend 20 minutes in the pen aisle.

I like the way these write, but I don't like the way they feel in my hand too heavy, maybe?

One day I will post pictures of my fountain pen collection... when I feel more evidence is needed for my strangeness.

Odd, I don't remember typing that.

Though, I do think crayons are wonderful writing instruments.

My employer gave me one of these to honor my ten years of service:

I am afraid to actually use it as I have lost many pens in a matter of seconds.

Use it -- pens like to be used. Just keep it someplace where it won't get lost -- like only at home, or only at work.

I LOLed. And if they would make crayons with a 0.5 or smaller tip, I'd write with them.
