that come on TV and you just watch from whatever point you catch it till its ending....

"The Secret of My Success" starring Michael J Fox.

Hardly a great movie, but I must have seen it 1000 times, and am watching it again as we speak.....

Though I tend to get caught up in the VH1 commentary shows. Sometimes I can't. turn. them. off. Even if I would really like to.

Hardly a great movie? I tremendously enjoy this movie - it was the first "PG 13" movie I was allowed to see, as I was a huge "Family Ties" fan growing up...

I stand by (almost) every movie Michael J Fox has ever starred in - from the Back to the Future triliogy to Bright Lights, Big City to The Frighteners and back again...

Oh, no..i thought it was a great movie...i was saying regards to Hollywood standards, it is hardly deemd a classic, or one of the greats of the year it came out....it came out. had moderate success, but seemss to have thrived on cable....

im all bout the Brantley Foster / Carlton Whitfield antics.

Three Days of the Condor

I still don't think I've ever seen it all in one sitting, though I've seen every scene at least five times.

Cherry 2000 -- Melanie Griffith was one of my favourite actresses of the 80's. It just had a bizarre road-trip/Mad Max/Buckaroo Banzai/Escape from New York quality to it.

One of our di-no-saurs
...is missing...
tonight...
seems she ran aground by the Louvre...

I keep forgetting -- was the movie inspired by the song or the other way around...?

Flipped on the Shawshank Redemption Sat. night & my wife said, "Are you watching this dumb movie AGAIN?" Dumb??

Roadhouse.
And for some reason, that Jon Cryer movie where he goes back to high school. I think it's called Hiding Out.

This has been on HBO a lot lately, and I love it.
For shitty afternoon wasters I like some action:
Point Break
Lethal Weapon
Die Hard (1 is good, but 2 owns)
Roadhouse

Any Terry Gilliam movie without Brad Pitt or Robin Williams in it it.
Any Peter Sellers or Alec Guiness comedy.
Any Christopher Guest movie
Any movie that I'd previously seen on Mystery Science Theater 3000
Better Off Dead
2001: Space Odyssey
Any Planet Of The Apes movie
Any Highlander movie (even the second one)

etc., etc., etc...

(Another good thread would be movies from the 50's and 60's that you'd never sit through except for the fact that there's someone like Ann-Margaret or Marilyn Monroe or Jayne Mansfield or Eva-Marie Saint or Elizabeth Taylor in them.)
