This album is so intense, so emotional. Her melodies are (as much as I sometimes hate the use of this word) haunting. The first song is so incredible when the little strumming twinkling high pitched guitar thing comes in and it only gets better. What an album. That PM offer still stands.

Ok I'm curious. I been waiting to flip out over something for the last few months.

I'd say it's a solid 6.5 - 7 out of 10, at least after my first two listens. Diamond Heart is pretty good but sometimes her vocals sound a bit too forced in an unnatural way. Otherwise it's certainly listenalbe but I ain't losin' my shit over it.

This is a lot more Renaissance Festival than I was expecting. She seems to be willfully flitting around with her voice, swelling in and out, in a conscious effort to make the music ... spookier? This is all reverb and mediocre poetry.

Thanks for sending it tho. My search continues. Sorry man.

glad you at least gave it a listen. i could see how it would sound like that to someone. i think some of those guitar parts with whatever effect that is (on rachel and bird on your grave) are worth the price of admission alone

I could only make it through the first three songs. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood at the time. It didn't sound bad, necessarily. When I saw that it was nearly 50 minutes, I gave up.

I'll give it another try in a week or so.

I tried real, real hard, but after 4 songs I felt like I was taking medicine, so I stopped.

I still hit up the rest of them for 5-10 seconds each, and, finding nothing to reject my hypothesis, made the call to the bullpen.

i'm surprised this is fifty minutes. i never looked at the total time and it always seems to go by so fast
