Pebbles Vol. 3

This is genuinely scary music. The first track is a strange spoken word number with weird accompaniment called "Diamond Man" by Dave Diamond & the Higher Elevation. It speaks of man-eating dandelions and tasmanian tree-houses and is peppered with howls of agony and pain. It's even weirder than it sounds.

Chronicle Vol. 2

These should just come together as a 2-album set. Vol. 1 has the hits and that's enough but this really shows why they were so fucking good.

Great extended guitar freak outs, great covers, and my favorite tune they ever did, "Cotton Fields".

My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult: The Filthiest Show In Town

Hey kids, do you like it sleazy? Lounge music for satanic strippers. Creepy, trashy but more laid back than usual, this one's a mix of the Thrill Kill Kult you know and love and a heaping helping of synthetic lounge music. Reminds me a bit of their Dirty Little Secrets remix album. The pace has slowed considerably since the days of Devil Bunnies and Kooler Than Jesus, but the trashy vibe is still much the same for these guys in 2007.

I'm not sure what I think of this quite yet. I guess this falls under yacht rock? I dunno. It has its interesting moments where the instros just get hot only to falter back.
