It's not bad. Not as good as the first two, but with repeated listenings, it might open up a little.

Whaddaya think?

I love the 1st. Tolerated half of the 2nd. My 1st impression on the latest is maybe one song. I wanted it to be good, but just too many colors, blinding noise with over-wrought voices hard to get along with from the start. I'll push my ears a bit more, but I don't like much at all so far. Their album progression is backward in IMHO. They went from pared down focused, to wide angled theatrics, to now, fricken flurry blurry and the kitchen sink.

Maybe a little bit. It just so happened I heard both AiH and The Frames yesterday set with high expectations. I've always been of fan of AiH, so I was a bit deflated on the new one. The Frames gets so much lovin' here I thought it would have sounded refreshing and new. It didn't.

To show some balance, I am loving the the new Caribou. And, I bought a Serena Maneesh Fixations ep (from 2002?)that kicks some ass. Much less over the top shoegaze and more VU bluesy.

I haven't listened to the rest yet, but "Heart It Races" is great.
