Everytime I see an Illinois game they mention the proximity of all locations for the Big Ten tourney and the NCAA's and how close it is to the campus. Crazy. Every place is within reasonable driving distance.

All my focus is on watching Ga Tech continue to disintegrate. They may not even make the tourney. Talk about a complete melt down of a season if they don't get in. What were they, #3 pre-season?

I know it's petty but since my team is in the crapper this year I have to take pleasure in our in-state rivals demise.

year in and year out i am in favor of this. still, because GA tech had such a key player out for so long, if they gel through the ACC tourney and make the big dance i won't be completely surprised.

To be fair, they had Elder out AND their most talented freshman, Jeromis Smith. The team can be good when they come together. Also, NC State has just owned Tech, winning the last 6 against them.

I agree with you and chase because they got hot at the right time last year and they didn't have Elder then either. I just think they are merely an average team right now. Jarret Jack could've been a 1st or 2nd round pick last year but as it is now he'll probably have to come back next year to get his stock back up. He has been awful this year. They haven't been good on defense or offense.

All of this pleases me to no end especially after all the Techies came out of the woodwork last year only to be brought back to earth. Around here you would have thought they had been dominating the ACC for years after last year.

You speak the truth brother. But I would probably be doing the same if UGA was worth a damn.
