i've never seen pictures of the band
or videos
and i've never seen them live

whenever this happens
i start to visualize the band

im pretty sure kevin spacey sings for interpol

go ahead and laugh
but then
put some headphones on
close your eyes

and picture kevin singing

I too have never seen them.

I too picture something incorrect.

Mine is a mix of Fred Scheider and Michael Stipe, because that's *exactly* what he sounds like. How are things on the love - shack.

They kinda play shows like them too.

The guitar player tries to bring some rock. The rest, not so much. A lot of my instincts tell me to hate these fellas, but I like all the records a lot.

Went to a Dorkwave hipster dance party that Carlos D DJ'd after an Interpol gig in '05 and he gave off the air of being an insufferable asshole. Which, to be fair, was par for the room that night.
I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Although in this case it's more like reading the book first, thinking it's shitty and illiterate, and then seeing the author photograph on the slip cover.
