what started as a parody thread turned into a refrence to an urban legend about lauryn hill making some racial comments, and not into a loving debate on alicia keys' prospects for playing on the other team.

I was just going to say, that this is my least favorite argument for anything, ever. Mariah Carey can sing, that doesn't mean I like that shit. Hell, Pavarotti can sing, but you won't catch Ol Gar rockin out to some arias anytime soon.

Its all about does she put out good product? The answer here is no. Her music sucks, her taste sucks, she's fake and she sucks. Also, not attractive.

And she gets even less points in my book, because in her second video, she was walking down the street singing the song from her first video in the beginning. This is as bad as rappers sampling their own shit.
