Has any one seen the movie Saw?

I never wanted to see it in the theaters but I was a little curious.
I have it in my Blockbuster que.
Any opinions?
Is it even worth watching?

i liked it, loved the premise, but they fuck it up pretty bad. still worth watching so you'll be ready for SAW II!

awful awful awful. i went to see it on halloween, and can't believe i wasted my money. the acting is really bad, even by horror movie standards, and it has without a doubt the dumbest plot twist i've ever seen. ever. at times its kind of creepy and disturbing, in a seven rip-off kind of way, but it has so many glaring inconsistencies that its almost insulting (and this is coming from somebody who really likes horror flicks)

I SAW (haha) it... I thought the movie could have been much scarier if the acting wasn't so bad. I couldn't believe that my beloved Wes ("as you wish") could act so badly in later films. Anyway, the story itself scared me, but the movie (acting) sucked. I was only scared when I thought of the whole premise later on and thought, "what if that were real and I was involved?" So, I would wait and rent this later on.

i actually just got back from watching it for the first time. It's pretty fucked up. I was pretty much yelling shit at the screen for the duration of rht efilm, which is always a good sign, but the ending is definitely one of those things where [err, don't read this: Danny Glover pulls a Scatman Crothers [i]a la[i/] "The Shining"there, now keep reading. But it's definitely worth watching...if only for sitting there going "where do i know the actress who plays his wife from?" for a half hour and then realizing it's nothing you cared about.
