The trailer looks pretty good. I have loved Douglas Adams since I was about 13. I hope this movie does well and the create Restaurant, So Long, etc.

This FAQ answers all questions fairly well. But it does point out a good fact. There is no definitive version of HHGTTG.

I hate watching trailers, they spoil too much.

I'm scared that they're going to screw this up.

Maybe it's just because I love the heart of the cheapie telly version, but, I saw the trailer and it didn't really make me want to see this.

It's possible, but Adams wrote the screenplay draft himself and approved of the major changes before he died. He didn't like the characters being static. The radio plays were different from the books, the books were different from the series, the series will differ from the movie. Adams did that on purpose,

I'm excited for this.

From what I read somewhere, he does have two heads, but the one his hidden "under" the other, and when it's needed his regular head rolls back. I think there's a very, very brief moment when you can see it happen - just a split-second shot of his head rolling back to reveal the other one.

So, is Mos's Ford Prefect the same character as Mos's Rondell on Chappelle's Show? I ask because Rondell has always struck me as vaguely extraterrestial... Maybe it's the rasp to his voice, plus the bug-eye shades....
