If anyone cares...Craig Biggio's playing his last game today after 20 years of MLB service. As of yesterday, he had 667 career doubles and 3,059 career hits. The Astros even let him catch the first two innings of yesterday's game...just for old times sake. Very cool.

I went to see the Astros play his rookie season. My paretns took me to wait around outside the locker room to try and get signatures. Everyone blew right by me execpt Biggio. I've loved him ever since even if I hate the Astros. He's everything you'd want in a ballplayer as far as attitude and approach to the game.

Agreed.

Despite the fact that he killed my Cubbies on more than one occasion, he was a helluva lot of fun to watch. Just one of those players that I always wished was wearing blue, with a red "C".

Definitely. But with Biggio and Bagwell both gone it's like the end of an era. Baseball shall not be the same.
