Never thought I'd own one of these things, but I guess I have to spend countless hours adding my CD collection to it over at my girlfriend's place because she has a Mac G4. I'm running WIN98SE on my old Dell and iPod's require at least Win2000 (pretty sure of this).

Apparently I entered a contest through Grimey's website and ATO Records where they give away an iPod Mini loaded with songs chosen by Jem.

Doyle from Grimey's left a message on my home answering machine telling me I had won and my roommate called me at work to pass on the good news. Since I didn't remember entering the contest this was like finding a $20 in a pair of shorts I hadn't worn in a year, but better because it's an iPod Mini.

I have to have my picture taken when I receive it. Fun stuff.

I don't know the color yet, I have to pick it up at Grimey's when it gets in. I'll probably never use mine either. Seriously, how long does it take to upload a CD to it?

Not long at all. And if you do a lot of driving (like say between Nashville and ATL...)you'll learn to love it. Ican't imagaine life w/o mine.
