that's probably the high point of this current season because both storylines - the band and dee's "retarded" boyfriend - are hilarious. but the first season blows it away.

I just downloaded the Dumpster Baby episode, holy shit that's funny. Charlie and Frank scrounging in the garbage was priceless.

finally started watching this show--borrowed the 1st two seasons from a friend. i'm only 3 episodes in and it's the most i've consistently laughed in a loooooong time. looking forward to the rest of it.

They only get better. Once Devito arrives on scene it starts coming together. Hundred Dollar Baby from Season II is hilarious.

it has the benefit of lower expectations than AD, AD was on after the Simpsons.

It's my understanding that outside of major cities the ratings were pretty bad. The show can't have the highest production costs, but you gotta hope that someone at FX is behind them.

my wife has picked up this habit of sounding like Sweet Dee without even knowing it, and also saying "Boom", which it seems I've now picked up as well. I'm almost afraid to tell her.
