I now they were playing Buffalo, but still.
let's look at the have left to play
da eagles...you can't be serious
da ravens...not likely
da steelers....they cn't even bet the Jets
da jets....well they know their plays so no
da dolphins.....ha ha ha
da giants....they are the most serious threat, but if the Pats make it this far, which I think they will, you can be sure bellichek isn't gonna be pulling any punches

GO PATS

Maybe the Orlando Magic? Get Howard out there, block Moss.

Bill did have the good grace not to go for the last 4 and inches, so they wouldn't, you know, top 60 points and all.

Cuz Bill's a sweetheart.

i think the Eagles have a really really really good chance. I mean, TO is back and at 90% healthy and the defense has been dominating all year. I see them keeping it a close game falling apart at halftime, puking in the final drive and then coming up 3 points short.

wait, what year is it?

I was worried for a millisecond when Stallworth and Moss dropped those back to back passes but then Moss caught that ball in the end zone and made it look so easy. I stopped watching a little bit after halftime, mostly because it was getting to be a bit boring.

This was cool...

Quote:
Anything you can do, New England can do better.

Hours after Dallas' Terrell Owens caught four touchdown passes against Washington, the Patriots' Randy Moss caught four in the first half against Buffalo. The Cowboys scored 28 points in their victory over the Redskins. The Patriots, 56-10 winners in Buffalo, scored their 28th point with more than six minutes remaining before halftime.

The two best teams in the NFC -- Dallas and Green Bay -- combined for 59 points in defeating their Week 11 opponents. New England scored its 56th point against the Bills barely a minute into the fourth quarter, enough for coach Bill Belichick to sit quarterback Tom Brady.

Only the Patriots are good enough to run up the score in the second and third quarters. Their victory, featuring the most points by a road team since 1973, drove home a point that needed no more driving home. In 2007, there's the Patriots, and then there's everyone else.

At 10-0, the Patriots could lose twice and still secure home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. But they won't need more than 12 or 13 victories, if Week 11 was any indication.

Granted, Moss took a pit stop in Oakland, but you have to admit, Minnesota has been very, very good to Boston.

All we do is give, give, give.

Make sure you send a friggin' thank you note.

I'm having flashbacks of my first full NFL season living in Denver (1998).

Every week my hatred of this team grows deeper. I really just want to see Brian Dawkins and Sheldon Brown pound the shit out of Brady next week. Jim Johnson should just fuck it and bring 8 or 9 guys every down. You know you're going to lose by 40 points, and you're not going to "cover" Moss anyway, so just bring ridiculous blitzes every play and do the NFL a favor. Maybe we can bring Buddy Ryan back to put a bounty on him or something.

Let's think of another seemingly unstoppable offense for which Randy Moss has played. Let's go all the way back to the year 1998.

Those Vikings ended up losing to Tampa Bay -- admittedly, not a horrible team, & in year three (or four) of the Dungy era, pretty much turned over from the nadir of the Sam Wyche Experience -- in the regular season, week eleven (maybe?), then coughed up a trip to the Super Bowl to the Dirty Birds.

So, don't count out good-to-great teams like Pittsburgh or the NY Giants. Hell, I actually do think the Eagles have a chance (especially if the Reid boys* manage to get Tom Brady hooked on the junk).

Will be fun to see if the loss comes.

(Week 11 of the NFL season will feature the Father of the Year game, Andy Reid & his junkie, drugs-dealing sons, versus Bill Belichick & his reefer-smoking, rapey, lacross-player son.)

Madden, at probably his most lucid last night, said it best: "bottom line is these guys are professionals. They have a game to play. I mean, you can't accuse them of running up the score when a secondary back (Eckel) is getting 14 yard runs on the first string defense of the Bills".

At some point, it ceases to be a valid accusation. I mean, every time they score big they take out Brady in the beginning of the 4th damn quarter. How about instead of a bunch of pussy hurt non-Patriot fans complaining that they are running up the score, why don't they complain that their respective teams' defenses can't make stops.

Here's why I like the double B: Dude coaches real life football like I played NFL 2K5. haha. Beating teams 180 to 0 and shit.

They scored a massive amount of points by the third quarter. As soon as they play Brady to the last second of the 4th quarter instead of taking him out in the beginning, shut the hell up about running up a score.

Yeah, and he had a damn good game last night.

Madden went off for a couple minutes about how great it is to see someone from Navy ("the service academies") in the NFL.

I think that Josh Brown can....if he can stop Devin Hester by himself then the Pat's are no problem:

(Okay, not really, I just wanted to post that to piss off all the Bears fans on the board) :)

I wasn't trying to be coy. I am in fact pissed off that the Pats are light years better than us. I admit it wholeheartedly. It's fucking annoying to see a team that has already been the best team in the NFL over the past five or so years buy a bunch of great players and become unstoppable. It doesn't help that they are arrogant assholes without any personality. I don't get why Pats fans get their panties in a bunch whenever I talk about how much I hate their team. It doesn't make sense to me. You are now the Yankees of the NFL. Deal with it.

Those are imaginary panties and imaginary bunches. But then I'm probably a bad sports fan. I don't hate any teams. Not even the Yankees.

Also, there are some cool people on the Pats who aren't assholes. Veterans like Teddy Bruschi and Junior Seau.

True, Brady's kind of a Mormon Tom Cruise, but with his helmet on I don't have to look at him much.
