1) got a job at an ad agency I have been trying to get into since November of 2003.

2) got engaged.

yeah, and quickly realized that the job sucked. so, by some twist of fate, the place that I first interviewed at when I was seeking out ad agencies offered me a job yesterday.

i was pretty stunned/caught off guard to say the least knowing that I was going to be proposing less than 24 hours later. it's a pretty awesome feeling right now.

thanks for the congrats all. it all really hasn't sunk in yet. so begins the phone calls.
