I'm sure the fans of Two And A Half Men will be crestfallen at your pronouncement, Dr. Tube.

Even though I couldn't be bothered to watch an entire episode of 30 Cocks, just going by the responses in the thread probably means its even less funny than The Office.

The Doogie show is actually pretty funny, but like I said, network sitcoms, LOL

And you should stick to sipping your coffee, and having people tell you what to like, ROGNEEB

I'll play the analogies game:

There's a bar in Newport, RI called Salvation Cafe that has "Tennessee Williams Wednesdays" where the special is written on the chalkboard as "Oyster Po' Boy and a STELLAG!" so you'll probably have to sue them for stealing your bit.

I kind of felt the same way about it at first. But that's just like AD - you can't watch little bits of it, you really need to watch the whole thing, and every show, as each show plays off of previous shows' jokes. Not in the way that AD did, of course, and this show is nowhere near as genius as AD, but I've really grown to love 30 Rock after ignoring it last season.

It does, however, have an interesting phenomenon that I've noticed. It seems to often start slowly and often not all that funny and then build up to a hilarious closing sequence that references everything that came before it, which somehow makes all of that hilarious in retrospect. Like the episode with Kenneth's party, it started out slow, and the build up to the party seemed like it was going to be a real let down, and then they cut to the next morning as if in the aftermath of a major catastrophe. That was the episode that convinced me there was no turning back - I'm a fan and can't miss this show every week.

This show's pretty good. Although I don't watch it that regularly. I always DVR it, and then watch 3-4 in a row in one night.

The wife did the same, and now refuses to watch 30, only she's less shamed and more angry over some quote from Tina Fey saying "the best show won" or some such, allegedly. So she won't watch it.

I (we) fucking love that show. God bless tivo. That and How I Met Your Mother are eagerly anticipated every week... that show misses a joke once in awhile, and whatsernuts from American Pie is kinda annoying, but everyone else is strong, and a lot of the jokes land squarely in the bullseye.

Baldwin is sublime.

American Pie?

I watched (and liked) both 30 Rock and Studio 60. So clearly I win.
